Executive brings a decade of healthcare experience to augment growth trajectory

Healthlink Advisors, a top-ranked healthcare consulting firm focused on improving clinical innovation, business systems, and healthcare IT strategy, delivery, and operations, welcomes Kaitlin Traft as Director of Business Development. 

With over a decade of healthcare experience and a vast network of relationships with key players in the healthcare and technology sectors, Traft’s impressive combination of talents will be an attribute to the team. Her expert knowledge of the challenges and opportunities prevalent in healthcare business evolution will expand partnership capabilities and enhance the delivery of innovative clinical and HIT solutions. Importantly, her affinity for cultivating relationships and deep commitment to service through problem-solving complements Healthlink Advisors’ business development strategy. In her new role, Kaitlin will oversee client-relationship management and cultivate fresh opportunities to aid the continuous growth of Healthlink Advisors.

Traft’s healthcare industry background includes serving as a certified nursing assistant after graduating from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. She subsequently held numerous positions in sales, business development, and account management with a focus on leveraging IT capability in healthcare modernization.

Prior to joining Healthlink Advisors, Traft served as Regional Director of Client Services at Optimum Health IT. During her time at Optimum, she led the development of strategic account opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, pinpointing solution approaches, and researching and analyzing growth opportunities. She also coordinated the internal financial analysis and approvals needed for establishing appropriate deal structures, and managed contract creation to enable new business and program extensions. Meticulous, task-oriented, perceptive, and reliable are just a few words to describe Kaitlin’s work ethic.
